• NWEA 
  • What, why and how
    1. This is a new assessment that is similar to RISE. All students in the school are being assessed. 
    2. This assessment helps us to place 3rd-5th grade students in the Read 180 program. It also helps to prepare K-2nd grade students for the RISE test that they begin taking in the 3rd grade.
    3. The assessment is given 3 times a year at the beginning, middle, and end of the school year.

    1. Reviewed the job descriptions for the different positions that students can apply for. 
• PBIS
  • 60 Days on the Y in December
    1. Talked about some different incentives for students when they reach a certain amount of days on the Y. 
  • The first week of January the Responsibility Chart and Y badges are paused as students spend that week practicing procedures. 
• School Safety and Digital Citizenship Update
  • Cost for Savethekids.org 
    1. Consider funds for next year
• Other Amendment progress
  • Approved for Chromebooks 
    1. 1 to 1 for 3rd-5th. 2nd grade has 1 to 1 as of right now. 1st grade is 2 to 1 at this point.
• Next Year’s Trustlands increase 119,441.08
  1. Guiding Coalition will be discussing where the funds need to go.
  2. We reviewed the Trustlands Plan which is written for this year and discussed where the funds are going.
• Rachel motioned to meet on Mar 5, 2026 for our next meeting. It was seconded by the rest of the attending members.
